Job Description

Our UK-based PHP development agency, specializing in WordPress development, is seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our fully remote team. While our company is located in the UK, we welcome applicants from across Europe who can work within European hours, embracing the flexibility and independence of remote work.

About You

As the first hire beyond our two founders, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development direction of our agency. Your main responsibilities will involve developing plugins and themes for WordPress projects, ranging from building websites from scratch using the Gutenberg Block Editor or page builders to working with existing projects and extending functionality through custom code, filters, and hooks.

You should possess a deep understanding of web development, particularly with PHP and JavaScript. While a comprehensive understanding of WordPress is crucial, we are open to candidates who are willing to develop their WordPress skills on the job. Familiarity with Git, local development environments, PHP configuration, and adhering to coding standards is essential. As we operate remotely, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are paramount.

About Us

We are a two-man agency with a focus on WordPress development, offering a unique opportunity for you to be our first team member. Our work environment promotes independence, allowing you to manage your workload effectively while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional WordPress solutions.

Why Work With Us

Joining our agency means you'll be part of a pioneering team setting the standards for WordPress development.
